Cross Functional Problem Solving Groups.
We can use this process whenever it is necessary to improve performance and co-operation across organisational functions and boundaries.
We often achieve this through Action Learning sets. Action Learning is a group problem solving technique in which individuals will elect to work on a challenge or issue with the coaching and support of the group. The process can be used to find new insights and solutions for any management or personal development issue, and is especially effective for solving challenges where all the set members have a stake in the outcome.
The set elects to meet a set number of times and agrees ground rules for working successfully together. Initially we will facilitate the sets, but in time they will become self-sustaining.
